biography

 

Imagine a girl growing up in a post-Soviet town in Crimea. She loves music—then at age 8, she discovers Whitney Houston in The Bodyguard. One life was changed, and one mission was born: to become a pop-soul diva.

But my vocal coach had other plans, introducing me to jazz. As the lead singer of the only jazz band in town, I fell in love with that world too. My path took me from Berklee College of Music to the stages of New York City, and now to Milan—each chapter shaping my mission to unite jazz and soul-pop.

Since then, my goal has been clear: to bring soulful, Whitney-inspired interpretation into jazz, and the rich harmonies of jazz into soul.

The result so far? Five albums, from the Henry Mancini Songbook to my original EPs Believer and Answer Me. Whether I’ve succeeded—you can decide for yourself.
