biography
Tamara Usatova is a Ukrainian Jazz/Soul singer and songwriter based in Milan, Italy. Her music background and discography are quite diverse. Tamara has always been passionate about 80’s soul pop music and inspired by artists like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion. But her career started as a lead singer of a jazz band when she was 15. Since then the love for both jazz and pop/soul genres is always reflected in her original music. She released her first album “Composer’s Ventures" in 2015, the homage to her jazz roots. It consists of original compositions, fully produced by Tamara. It was followed by her soul/pop EP “Believer” that includes five of her original tracks. According to Tamara, this is the music that represents her the best - a blend of soul, pop, R’n’B and rock.
In 2019 Tamara released a Christmas album that was her long-term dream.
Tamara is currently working on her new album.
Tamara is originally from Ukraine. She grew up in Crimea, and at 17 moved to Saint-Petersburg to get the higher education in art history and languages.
